Trump on Taylor Swift

( – Just hours before the Super Bowl yesterday, former President Donald Trump shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift and her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. Trump took to Truth Social to dismiss any chance of Swift endorsing President Joe Biden.

He reminded everyone that it was he who signed the Music Modernization Act in 2018, benefiting Swift and other artists, not Biden. “I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will,” he stated. Trump further claimed, “There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money.”

Trump also mentioned his fondness for Kelce, despite believing the NFL player might not share the sentiment. “Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!” he added.

This commentary emerged amid speculation that Biden’s campaign is seeking Swift’s endorsement as they gear up for the November election. Reports last month suggested Biden’s team was keen on aligning with the “Shake It Off” singer, potentially even planning a campaign stop at one of her “Eras Tour” concerts.

The debate over Swift’s political influence was reignited by a New York Times article hinting at the Biden campaign’s efforts to win over Swift. Meanwhile Trump’s remarks came just as Kelce and the Chiefs were preparing to face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVII in Las Vegas.

Conspiracy theories have circulated in conservative circles, suggesting Swift’s relationship with Kelce is part of a larger plan to support Biden’s reelection. These theories speculate on the NFL’s involvement in favoring the Chiefs to boost Swift’s profile and by extension Biden’s campaign.
