Trump Scores Big With Ohio Disaster Victims

(RightIsRight.co) – Former President Donald Trump earned piles of praise after he visited the town of East Palestine, Ohio, which suffered massive exposure to toxic chemicals, as his White House successor Joe Biden has not shown his face in Ohio.

On February 3, a freight train transporting toxic chemicals derailed, causing a massive fire and explosions. The Biden administration has come under fire for failing to react adequately to the emergency.

Residents of East Palestine lauded Trump as he visited their town on Wednesday, Breitbart News reported.

“At least somebody actually showed up,” one resident told One America News.

“He’s all heart…He loves everybody, you can tell,” another said.

After the former president arrived, residents began cheering and chanting, “Trump! Trump! Trump!”

“We love you,” and “Thank you for coming!” yelled some of the locals at Trump, who is a frontrunner in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

Trump went over to the cheering crowd, shook hands with his supporters, and signed hats.

The third-time White House candidate also went inside a local McDonald’s and bought lunch for anyone inside the restaurant and the staff of the police department and fire department of East Palestine.

As part of his visit, Trump also brought truckloads of water and supplies, which were distributed to the population affected by the disaster.

Republican members of the United States Congress praised his actions.

“America has two Presidents right now,” tweeted Army veteran Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX).

“One who can climb a flight of stairs and one who falls up them. One who visits Americans in need, and one who takes pallets of cash to Ukraine,” he added.

“President Trump visits the people of East Palestine, Ohio and brings them water & supplies while Joe Biden only cares about pushing more war and US money in Ukraine,” tweeted Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

“Thank you President Trump for continuing to show what America First looks like,” she wrote further.

“Thankful for President Trump’s @realDonaldTrump leadership as @GOP continue to stand with America and the people of Ohio. #PRIORITY,” read a tweet by Rep. Cory Mills.

His post responded to a tweet by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) which read, “Thankful for President Biden’s leadership as we continue to stand with Ukraine.”

Tim Pool, the host of Timcast, wondered why “Biden couldn’t show up for 10 minutes, get a picture, and leave.”

Breitbart News pointed out that after Trump announced he was going to East Palestine, Ohio, the Biden administration “sent” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. However, the latter “refused to answer questions from the media.”

When a reporter asked Trump what his message for President Joe Biden was, he responded,

“Get over here.”
