(RightIsRight.co) – Since taking office, President Joe Biden has implemented policies at our southern border that led to the highest number of illegal immigrant apprehensions in the month of March in over 15 years. This troubling statistic is just one of the many points that former President Donald Trump took aim at this week.
Trump spoke with Maria Bartiromo from Fox Business early Thursday morning to respond to President Biden’s first speech to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, April 28. Trump compared his own strict immigration policies to Biden’s current lackluster plan. The former president noted his own border wall, stay in Mexico policy, and clear pathway to citizenship did a much better job ensuring our national security as well as law and order.
Senator James Lankford (R-OK) also compared the state of the US-Mexico border during President Trump’s administration to Biden’s in a video shared on Twitter:
On day one Biden rolled back policies from President Trump that strengthened our security & stabilized our border.
Instead, he implemented policies that encourage human trafficking & empower drug cartels.

When contrasting the first 100 days of each president, Americans can see the stark differences between the two men. One president brought stability to our southern border while the other created one of the worst crises in our nation’s history at the exact same spot. If only President Biden had continued Trump’s border policies, it would have brought stability to the region, and our nation would be much safer.
