(RightIsRight.co) – As the past administration’s disastrous policies have created a nation of isolated, desperate citizens, America’s “happiness ranking” has plummeted to its lowest level ever.
The 2025 World Happiness Report reveals the United States has fallen to 24th place globally, highlighting the devastating social and economic toll of progressive governance on American families and communities.
The annual World Happiness Report surveyed people worldwide from 2022 to 2024 before Donald Trump returned to the White House.
Finland claimed the top spot for the eighth consecutive year with an impressive score of 7.7, while the United States languished at just 6.7.
This marks America’s worst performance since the report’s inception 13 years ago, exposing the deep social fractures developing under leftist policies.
Researchers identified several factors behind America’s happiness decline, including a shocking increase in “deaths of despair” from suicide and substance abuse, which continue rising in the U.S. while declining in most other developed nations.
The report exposes how the American social fabric is unraveling. Twenty-five percent of Americans now eat all meals alone—a stark contrast to happier nations where sharing meals remains culturally important.
The researchers noted that “the number of people dining alone in the United States has increased by 53% over the past two decades,” adding that communal dining “is strongly linked with well-being.”
Meanwhile, countries maintaining traditional family structures showed remarkable resilience.
Mexico and Costa Rica both secured spots in the top 10 happiest nations, largely due to their emphasis on larger household sizes and strong family bonds.
Political division also plays a significant role in America’s decline in happiness. The report explicitly links lower happiness rankings with political polarization and anti-system voting.
“The country-wide evolution of happiness and trust is highly associated with the rise in the likelihood of voting for anti-system parties in Western Europe and the United States,” the authors stated.
Perhaps most concerning for American patriots is the report’s finding that 19% of young adults globally reported having no social support in 2023 – a staggering 39% increase since 2006.
This social isolation crisis has been exacerbated by the left’s relentless promotion of screen time over face-to-face interaction and the systematic dismantling of community institutions that traditionally provided support networks.
“Happiness isn’t just about wealth or growth—it’s about trust, connection and knowing people have your back,” Gallup CEO Jon Clifton stated.
Ultimately, these findings present both a challenge and an opportunity to reverse America’s decline in happiness by restoring the values and institutions that once made the country the envy of the world.
