US Soldier Arrested

( – Revealing that not all U.S. soldiers are on the right path under the Biden administration, a U.S. Army intelligence analyst was arrested for allegedly providing national defense information to the communist country of China.

According to a Department of Justice (DOJ) statement, Sergeant Korbein Schultz, who held a top-secret security clearance, was taken into custody at a military base on the Kentucky-Tennessee border at Fort Campbell.

As per the accusation, Schultz provided a contact in Hong Kong with documents which included maps, and photographs related to U.S. National Defense.

The DOJ report suggested that Schultz received a total payment of $42,000 for the sensitive military information, which included details about potential U.S. plans in case of a military threat to Taiwan.

Furthermore, the document involved pertained to fighter aircraft, helicopters, hypersonic equipment, the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), and studies about the U.S. and Chinese military.

In response to Schultz’s arrest and the detention of a Chinese software engineer accused of stealing AI technology from Google, the communist country’s capital stated it was “not aware of the specific circumstances” but emphasized China’s commitment to protecting intellectual property rights.

Spokesperson Mao Ning also stated, in reference to the Google case, that “China has consistently attached high importance to and actively protected intellectual property rights.”

At the same time, Ning claimed that they opposed the U.S. using its national power to unjustly suppress Chinese enterprises and citizens.

Schultz’s indictment follows the recent arrests in California of two U.S. Navy sailors who were charged with spying for China.

Petty officer Wenheng Zhao was sentenced to 27 months in prison in January. He pleaded guilty to conspiring with a foreign intelligence officer and accepting a bribe.
