(RightIsRight.co) – A shocking video has surfaced on several social media platforms showing unethical and cold-hearted staff at a Tennessee dental office mocking a cancer patient’s diary.

According to a local media outlet, the incident took place at Premier Dental Group of Knoxville, where a staff member was caught on video seemingly reading and laughing aloud from a cancer patient’s personal diary.
“Found a patient’s journal and now it’s story time lmfao,” the employee wrote in the video caption.
The video quickly spread on social media, sparking outrage as it showed the employee mocking the patient’s private thoughts about their medical treatment and concerns
A woman in black scrubs can be seen leaning against a desk as she flips through and reads aloud passages describing the radiation treatments the cancer patient faces.
In turn, the camera then pans to another bully sitting cross-legged on the office floor and leaning in intently as she hears about the patient’s concern that there are “no other treatment options.”
Moreover, the reaction online was swift, with many calling for a boycott of the dental practice.
In response, Premier Dental Group issued an apology on their Facebook page, admitting the video was inappropriate and acknowledging it displayed a serious lack of respect and professionalism.
However, the apology was short-lived—the practice’s Facebook page was taken down shortly after.
The statement read:
“Premier Dental Group of Knoxville is aware of a recent incident involving an inappropriate video created and shared by some of our employees that addressed an individual’s medical condition in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner.”
“We deeply regret this incident and the hurt has caused,” it added.
Additionally, the dental group has started an internal investigation and is reviewing its policies and training to prevent similar incidents in the future.
According to TV station WBIR, a spokesperson for PDG confirmed that the female employees involved in the incident were fired “effective immediately.”
