(RightIsRight.co) – As he attended an event in New Hampshire earlier today in what most political pundits believe is a test of the 2024 presidential campaign possibilities, former Vice President Mike Pence said he might be ready to testify before the United States House of Representatives Select Committee that is investigating the January 6, 2021, attack at the United States Capitol in Washington, DC.

As National Review reports in “Pence Says He’d ‘Consider’ Testifying Before January 6 Committee“:
“Former vice president Mike Pence said Wednesday he would “consider” testifying before the January 6 Committee if he was invited.
“Pence was answering a question after the New Hampshire Institute of Politics’ “Politics & Eggs” breakfast when he made the remark.“ [emphasis added]
Specifically, when asked if he would ‘be agreeable’ if the committee called on him to testify about events on January 6, 2021, Pence stated:
“If there was an invitation to participate, I would consider it. But, you heard me mention the Constitution a few times this morning. Under the Constitution, we have three co-equal branches of government, and any invitation to be directed to me, I would have to reflect on the unique role I was serving in as vice president. It would be unprecedented in history for a vice president to be summoned to testify on Capitol Hill. But, as I said, I don’t want to pre-judge, so if there’s ever any formal invitation rendered to us, we would give it due consideration.” [emphasis added]
Several conservative commentators said they believe Pence was going out of his way to signal to the January 6 Committee that he wants to come before them and offer his testimony about what happened that day.
