(RightIsRight.co) – Following an alarming security lapse by the Secret Service last month, yesterday, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump revealed he was unaware of a recent threat against his life and the ongoing manhunt for the suspect in Arizona.

This revelation comes after a gunman managed to evade the Secret Service to position himself on a rooftop and shoot Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month.
Although Trump was only grazed in the ear, the assailant killed one bystander and injured two others before being taken down by counter-snipers.
Speaking to reporters after a rally focused on border security, Trump addressed the crowd to discuss the serious issues stemming from illegal immigration, including drug and human trafficking across the southern border.
When a reporter asked him directly about the threat and manhunt, Trump responded, “No.”
“For the Daily Mail, today there was a manhunt going on in this county, somebody made death threats to you,” the reporter pressed. “Did you hear about that before coming?”
“No,” Trump reiterated. The reporter then asked about the risks of visiting the area, given the circumstances.
“What are your thoughts coming down here? Some people told me it’s dangerous for you to be here,” he asked.
“I’ve heard it’s dangerous, but I also have a job to do,” Trump explained. “I heard it’s very dangerous, I hadn’t heard about that. They probably want to keep it from me.”
With a chuckle, Trump thanked the reporter and half-jokingly suggested to his Secret Service detail, “Let’s get outta here, right now.”
Trump added:
“No, thank you very much for saying, but no, and I have great respect for Secret Service, the job they do — including a month and a half ago when they were jumping on top of me with bullets flying right at them, so … no, I haven’t heard that, but I’m not that surprised. The reason is because I want to do things that are very bad for the bad guys.”
