WATCH these kids narrowly escape death in MI school shooting

Oxford High School

(RightIsRight.co) – The video below captures both the courage and clear-headed thinking of one classroom of students in the high school where yesterday a student went on a rampage, shooting and killing three students and wounding eight other individuals.

It also shows the students’ fear as they took action to escape when they believed the killer was at their classroom door, trying to get them to open the door by pretending he was a police officer.

The shooting took place at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, Michigan.

The shooter has been identified as a 15-year-old male sophomore who attends the school and was in classes for most of the day yesterday.

According to the Detroit Free Press, “The weapon used was a 9mm Sig Sauer SP 2022 pistol…The suspect had at least two, 15-round magazines, including one with seven remaining rounds when authorities apprehended the suspect.”

The gun was purchased by his father last Friday.

The 15-year-old shooter had posted photos of the gun and targets he was shooting before the incident, but it is unknown if he had made any specific threats against the school or his classmates. It is also unknown if he was targeting specific students, teachers, and other school personnel.

He surrendered to the first police officers arriving at the school. Those officers arrived within five minutes of the first 911 call to police. The weapon was still loaded when he surrendered, and he did not engage the police in a firefight.
