(RightIsRight.co) – As the political and social left in the United States works to move the country deeper into socialism, many are looking around the globe to see what that could mean based on how deeply socialist countries are operating.
Now comes the news that in Spain, a profoundly socialist country, women will soon get paid days off from work each month while they are menstruating.
As Breitbart News reports in “Socialist Spain to Offer Monthly Menstrual Leave for Women“:
“The Socialist government of Spain is set to become the first country in Europe to offer women monthly leave from work for menstruation.
“As a part of the upcoming abortion legislation spearheaded by the socialist government’s Minister of Equality, far-left MP Irene Montero, women will be allowed to take three paid days off per month from work if they are experiencing pain associated with periods.
“The draft law says that this could be extended to up to five days off of work for those women suffering from intense symptoms such as severe pain, cramps, nausea, dizziness, or vomiting, the El Pias newspaper reported.” [emphasis added]
No word as to whether the Democrat Socialists in the United States Congress will soon introduce similar legislation, but one political analyst tells Right Is Right that it is just a matter of time before they follow Spain’s lead.
