(RightIsRight.co) – Despite the health situation the Princess of Wales is facing due to her recent cancer diagnosis, both Princess Kate and Prince William shared a new and sweet picture of their daughter, Princess Charlotte, to commemorate her 9th birthday.
“Happy 9th Birthday, Princess Charlotte! Thank you for all of the kind messages today,” the Princes of Wales captioned the image that was shared on X and Instagram.
Princess Kate took the picture where Princess Charlotte glows while posing in a backyard setting.
While details about the third in line to the throne remain limited, her mother once characterized her as “the one in charge.”
This trait was evident at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022, where Princess Charlotte reminded her older brother, Prince George, to pay his respects to the coffin.
Charlotte also displayed her nurturing side during the Trooping The Colour ceremony, where she comforted her younger brother, Prince Louis, with a sweet hand gesture.
Charlotte last appeared in the public eye on Christmas Day, when she was accompanying her family to church at Sandringham.
This appearance also marked Middleton’s final public outing before the Palace released a video disclosing her health status on March 22.
Amid her cancer treatment following diagnosis, Middleton opted to share the news publicly before she and William’s children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—went on Easter break.
Also, reports indicated that while the couple “sugarcoated” Middleton’s health situation for Louis, they engaged in a more open discussion with George and Charlotte.
As Middleton undergoes treatment, her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, have stepped in to support their grandchildren.
Charlotte’s birthday follows closely after her younger brother Prince Louis’ 6th birthday celebration.
