(RightIsRight.co) – Corroborating that being part of the Biden family is a synonym for being a criminal and lawbreaker, investigations into the activities of Jim Biden, Joe Biden’s younger brother, are reportedly widening.
According to informed sources, federal investigators in Florida are examining his transactions, while officials from the Department of Justice (DOJ) are seeking information on him in an ongoing Medicare fraud investigation in Pennsylvania.
Three anonymous sources familiar with the matter reported that the investigations are linked to the Americore hospital chain where Jim Biden was employed after his brother’s tenure as vice president in the Obama administration.
Prosecutors in Pennsylvania alleged that one of the chain’s hospitals received improper Medicare reimbursements with a total of tens of millions of dollars.
Meanwhile, the investigation in Florida revolved around Jim Biden’s and business associates’ attempts to secure investments from the Middle East to finance Americore and other ventures in the U.S.
A source familiar with the Florida case stated that investigators there were seeking details about an agreement associated with Jim Biden. The probe also scrutinized loans extended to Americore through one of his colleagues.
During his testimony before Congress last month, Jim acknowledged receiving payments to facilitate some of the financing. However, a 2022 complaint filed in Palm Beach County contended that the payments he received were inappropriate.
Filed against the Third Friday Total Return Fund, the complaint alleged that its money manager provided loans to Americore which diverted $600,000 to Jim Biden.
Subsequently, Jim transferred $200,000 of this sum to his brother Joe Biden with the president and the White House characterizing it as a loan repayment.
Jim Biden’s lawyer, Paul Fishman, stated that his client is “not being investigated by federal law enforcement in Florida or Pennsylvania.”
A recent Politico investigation revealed that Jim Biden took advantage of his brother’s name to promote Americore, while several associates of the then-vice president were either employed by the company or attended its meetings.
However, the investigation did not uncover any evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement with the company.
