Judge to Hunter Biden: Denied!

(RightIsRight.co) – Besides being part of a criminal family and hiding under his father’s unlawful business, a leftist judge in Delaware denied Hunter Biden’s attempts to dismiss his federal gun charges on Friday as he waits for his trial.

U.S. District Judgе Maryellen Noreika rejected Hunter Biden’s motions, which werе based on his pretrial-diversion agreement, claims of selective prosecution, and the appointment of special counsel David Weiss, the U.S. attorney for Delaware.

Noreika firmly dismissed Hunter Biden’s argument that he was being unfairly targeted by David Weiss, who was appointed by Attorney General Mеrrick Garland and chosen by his father, Joe Biden.

“Thus, Defendant’s articulated protected class is apparently family members of politically-important persons,” Noreika wrote.

She noted that Hunter Biden’s selеctive prosecution claim hinges on his relationship with his father.

Noreika stated:

“Defendant’s claim is effectively that his own father targeted him for being his son, a claim that is nonsensical under the facts here. Regardless of whether Congressional Republicans attempted to influence the Executive Branch, there is no evidence that they were successful in doing so and, in any event, the Executive Branch prosecuting Defendant was at all relevant times (and still is) headed by Defendant’s father.”

Hunter Biden’s lawyers argued that his prosecution was due to pressure from former President Donald Trump and House Republicans conducting an impeachment inquiry against his father.

However, Noreika pointed out that Trump is no longer in office, and the claims against House Republicans are just guesses.

Furthermore, the infamous judge rejected Hunter Biden’s attempt to subpoena Trump, former Attorney General Bill Barr, and two other senior officials from the Trump Justice Department. She recapped that it was the Biden administration that decided to prosecute him, not during Trump’s time.

Additionally, Noreika presided over a hearing last summer where Hunter Biden was supposed to plead guilty to two tax misdemeanors and a felony gun charge. Yet, she raised questions about a provision in the pretrial diversion agreement.

After Hunter Biden’s guilty plea fell apart, Garland appointed Weiss as special counsel to continue the investigation into Hunter.

Hunter Biden is simultaneously facing nine federal tax charges in California for allegedly failing to pay more than $1 million in taxes over the 2016–19 tax years. Earlier this month, Judge Mark Scarsi rejected Biden’s eight motions to dismiss the tax charges.
