OUTRAGE: 72-Year-Old Wearing MAGA Hat ATTACKED!

In an outrageous assault on free expression, a 33-year-old Florida woman faces multiple charges after violently attacking a 72-year-old man simply for wearing a MAGA hat in public.

Laura Garrett’s attack on the elderly Trump supporter, followed by her assault on a police officer, highlights the growing pattern of political intolerance against conservative Americans exercising their First Amendment rights.

The incident occurred at Northeast Park and Paw Place in Largo, Florida, where Garrett approached the elderly man specifically to confront him about his support for President Trump.

What began as a political disagreement quickly escalated when Garrett poured a can’s contents over the senior citizen’s head before striking him with it.

According to police documents, after attacking the elderly Trump supporter, Garrett fled the scene by jumping a fence.

An independent witness provided a sworn statement confirming the assault, contradicting Garrett’s later claim that she only poured the drink on the man but did not hit him with the can.

When law enforcement located Garrett, she allegedly refused to comply with officers’ commands and actively resisted arrest.

Police reports indicated she dropped to the ground and wrapped her legs around an officer, causing him to fall and suffer a knee injury.

She continued resisting by kicking and pulling away from officers attempting to take her into custody.

Garrett now faces serious charges, including battery on a person older than 65, battery on a police officer, and obstructing or resisting an officer without violence.

After being booked into Pinellas County Jail, she was released the following night while her case was forwarded to the State Attorney’s office for potential prosecution.

In addition, this attack represents yet another example of conservatives being targeted simply for peacefully expressing their political views.

The elderly victim’s only “offense” was wearing a hat supporting former President Trump in a public park – a constitutionally protected right that increasingly puts conservatives at risk of physical assault from those who disagree with their politics.

“The defendant and the 72-year-old victim were at the park when a verbal argument broke out between them regarding the victim wearing a “MAGA” hat,” an affidavit read.

It continued:

“During the altercation, the defendant struck the victim on the back of the head/shoulder area with a can she was holding. She then jumped over a fence and began walking away. This incident was witnessed by an independent witness, who later provided a sworn statement.”

The arrest report confirms Garrett’s political motivation, stating she “admitted to approaching the victim and questioning him about why he would support President Trump before she poured the contents of a can on his head.”

While liberals frequently lecture conservatives about tolerance and respect, this incident demonstrates the growing pattern of leftist violence against ordinary Americans who dare to support conservative causes or candidates publicly.

Ultimately, this case underscores the double standard in how political violence is treated in America today.

Though the mainstream media obsessively covers alleged right-wing incidents, attacks against Trump supporters continue with less attention.

This creates an environment where some believe that assaulting conservatives is acceptable political expression rather than criminal behavior.
