(RightIsRight.co) – Demonstrating that not all political figures are part of the good values Americans have nor have good manners, a New York political candidate was recently arrested for allegedly punching a TikToker in the face.
According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), Skiboky Stora, who ran for mayor, governor, and city council for over three years, was charged with assault after supposedly hitting Halley Kate, a random woman, earlier this week.
Kate posted a viral video where she recounted the incident as she walked in Chelsea. In the video, she showed her red face and described the attack.
“You guys, I was literally just walking, and a man came up and punched me in the face. Oh my god, it hurts so bad. I can’t even talk,” she alleged.
“Literally, I fell to the ground,” she continued. “And now this giant goose egg is forming and I’m like — oh my god. It’s so crazy!”
Stora was scheduled to appear in Manhattan court on Wednesday morning.
In addition to his political ventures, Stora released rap music under the name Designer Attitude. A music video on Facebook showed him boasting about his wealth and status.
Following Kate’s video, other women on TikTok shared similar experiences of being attacked in the city. However, Kate maintained her gratitude towards New York and called her experience an isolated case.
“I am not hear to argue that New York City can be really scary at times, but I have lived here for six years, and I have not had anything even remotely similar happen,” Kate said.
