(RightIsRight.co) – The extreme left knows no limits and is now endorsing terrorists. Black Lives Matter has now expressed solidarity with the Palestinian militant group Hamas amidst a wave of violence that saw the deadliest attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust.
This declaration came as Hamas launched a terrorist offensive on Israel from Gaza during the Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret, the concluding day of the annual High Holy Day cycle, resulting in over 900 deaths and at least 2,500 wounded, including tens of Americans.
In an outrageous statement, Black Lives Matter Grassroots, representing 26 local BLM chapters nationwide, voiced their support for the terrorist group, characterizing the attacks as a desperate act of self-defense within the context of longstanding oppression: “As the world is faced with deep questions about self-determination, as we all desire and pray for a world of peace, we must stand unwaveringly on the side of the oppressed. When a people have been subject to decades of apartheid and unimaginable violence, their resistance must not be condemned, but understood as a desperate act of self-defense.”
The organization believes there are parallels between the struggles of Black and Palestinian communities, drawing attention to the shared experiences of resisting oppression and colonization. They called for dismantling the entire apartheid system in Palestine, urging the United States to cease its funding of Israel and redirect the resources towards repairing the damage caused by U.S.-backed wars and interventions worldwide.
The Chicago chapter of Black Lives Matter also demonstrated their solidarity with Hamas by posting a photo that declared, “I stand with Palestine.” The image featured a paraglider bearing the Palestinian flag, reminiscent of a Hamas deadly attack on an Israeli music festival using paragliders.
This show of support for Hamas is not new for Black Lives Matter activists, who have a history of advocating for the rights of terrorists during times of heightened violence in the region. Despite the undefendable nature of their stance, BLM Grassroots maintains that their position is rooted in a commitment to ending militarism and mass incarcerations in their own communities, aligning their struggle with those seeking justice and self-determination worldwide.
