VIDEO: Congressman Hit With Damning Evidence

Red light

(RightIsRight.co) – The left’s taste for brazen, blatant lies to the American public has been exposed yet again – as newly leaked damning security footage demonstrates that far-left US Congressman Jamaal Bowman deliberately sounded a House of Representatives fire alarm to disrupt a key vote.

You can watch the video below.

On September 30, Bowman (D-NY) activated a House building fire alarm before a vote to avoid a government shutdown. Even though he was recently charged with a misdemeanor and entered a plea deal, he keeps maintaining his innocence, claiming he set off the alarm by mistake.

The newly released footage, which contradicts Bowman’s initial explanation, shows him removing emergency warning signs before activating the fire alarm, Breitbart News reports.

The video posted on X by Kevin Frey of Spectrum News NY1 shows Bowman dismantling emergency exit signs and activating the fire alarm.

Contrary to his claim of attempting to open a door to make a crucial vote, the footage reveals Bowman immediately fleeing the scene, without trying to access the door.

“I don’t know why this has gotten so much attention. I was literally just in a rush to go vote, man! That’s all it was!” Bowman had initially stated.

However, Republicans have suggested an alternative motive, accusing Bowman of intending to disrupt Capitol proceedings and delay a vote, allowing Senate Democrats more time to negotiate a government spending bill.

The incident has led to Bowman being criminally charged by the DC Attorney General with a misdemeanor for pulling the alarm, which could have resulted in a maximum of six months in prison.

However, an agreement was later reached, allowing Bowman to avoid jail by paying a $1,000 fine and issuing a formal apology to the US Capitol Police.

Adding to the controversy, Bowman pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge stemming from the September 30 event.

The newly leaked video contradicts the innocence claims of the radical leftist, who is a member of the far-left “Squad” in the House of Representatives.

“Today as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today would not open. I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused,” Bowman claimed in a statement after his seemingly deliberate act.
